
Airport and Transport
Sydney Airport
The conference venue is 14km from Sydney International Airport and 7km from Sydney Domestic Airport. It takes approximately 20 - 25 minutes to reach by car. A taxi will cost approximately AUD$40.00 from the International Airport and AUD$30.00 from the Domestic Airport. Sydney Buses has a timetabled service to the University of New South Wales (Route 400 and 410) with stops at both T1 International and T3 Domestic Terminals. To view the timetable and map click here. Clearly marked bus stops are located on the arrivals level outside each of these terminals.
Taxis
Taxis in Sydney operate under two (2) pricing structures. From 0600 - 2200 hours the standard fare applies. On the left hand side of the taxi meter, above the word 'rate' you should see the number 1. From 2200 - 0600 hours, a 20% night tariff applies, at these times the meter should be set on rate 2. Ensure that the meter is set correctly when you begin your journey. Please note that there is a flag fall fee of AUD$3.20 applies on all fares. Booking fees are AUD$2.10.

Trains and Buses
There is a train station located at both the Domestic and International Terminals at Sydney Airport. Trains run on average every 10 minutes during the day on a weekday and every 15 minutes on weekends. From the Domestic Terminal, it takes 10 minutes to reach Central Station and 15 minutes to Circular Quay. From the International Terminal it takes a few minutes longer. Lifts are available at both the International and Domestic Terminals for the easy transfer of luggage. Fares from the Domestic Terminal to the City start at approximately AUD$14.00 per adult for a single journey.
If you are travelling to UNSW by train, alight at Central Station, walk five (5) minutes to the bus stops on Eddy Ave and catch either buses on route 891. These depart from Stand D and are express services to High Street, Kensington. Please note that these are PrePay Only services. Those using these services must have their ticket before they travel. Prepaid bus tickets can be bought from most newsagencys. Express bus services are also available from Circular Quay. Buses on routes 890 and 892 depart from Stand E on Alfred St.
When UNSW Express services are not operating, the following regular Sydney Bus services are available for travel to Anzac Pde, Kensington:
