From Otago we thank all those who visited to speak their minds at the AAP/AAPNZ Conference 2011
The AAP Conference is held annually by the Australasian Association of Philosophy. Held over six days, this conference is designed to give professional philosophers and philosophy students the opportunity to present and discuss papers in all areas of philosophy. Each year it attracts up to 300 philosophers worldwide.
The 2011 AAP Conference and the 2011 AAPNZ conference will jointly take place at Otago University in Dunedin New Zealand from July 3rd to 8th. (Accordingly, there will not be a separate AAPNZ conference in December 2011.)
The Joint 2011 AAP/AAPNZ conference is also being held in conjunction with the 2011 Australasian Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy (ASACP) annual conference.
Online Registrations are now closed.

ARRIVING IN DUNEDIN
There are no conventional bus services to and from Dunedin International Airport; instead it is served by a large fleet of shuttle vans provided by several operators, including most of the local taxi companies. Airport shuttle vans typically travel non-stop to or from the airport and meander about the city and suburbs picking up or dropping passengers at each address.
You are recommended to use an airport shuttle ($20-30 one way; requires no booking for airport pickup). There is also a limo service from Classic Jags (requires advance booking: ring +64-3-488-5961, or in NZ 0800 346370; ask for the University rate of $66.44 per carload one way). Taxis are available at the airport with no booking required, but you will pay $100 or more to get into Dunedin in a regular taxi.
